NWK9 Program Candidates: NorthWest K9's Nikita
|
|
-- PLACED --
NorthWest K9's Nikita is a 14-month-old, all-black, medium sized female defining the term "pocket rocket." Niki possesses
high drives overall with a lively, animated character and wonderful expression. Of German and
American pedigree with OFA certified dam and sire,
Niki is a highly intelligent and biddable girl eager to learn. Nikita is a joyfully playful dog with her people.
|
She is as quick in movement as she is in training. Her foundation obedience facility
includes sit, down/long down, heel, here, crate, wait, come out, leave it, brings, out, seek with more in development. She responds beautifully to
ball, food, and praise.
|
She's a ball nut with super agility and strong hunt drive. Highly driven for the ball and toy in play,
training, and searches. She engages in energetic tug-o-war with a keen desire to win. A natural guardian
of home and property.
|
|
Her introductory footstep master tracking on grass with arcing turns shows very well, with strong drive into the
track and a deep nose. She handles transitions of surface, height, and sound with ease.
|
Along with her potential for detection or SAR, Nikita would also be great fun for the
handler seeking a flashy, energetic young dog for competitive sport or trial. Fully house, crate, and kennel
trained, Nikita travels well in the vehicle.
