JANNA is a beautiful 11-month old black female German Shepherd Dog. With an impressive Czech
working bloodlines pedigree (Sire Cento z
Pohranicni straze ZVV1 SchH I KKL2 0/0; and Dam
Lucy v Grunheide SchH1 KKL2 OFA Hips Good/Elbows clear)
from a working kennel producing dogs primarily for Police K9. Maternal grandsire is a working Police K9.
Her overall drive picture, character, and temperament show potential for Search and Rescue and
recreational/competitive activities.
Janna is a very intelligent, energetic, nicely social young dog. She is highly affectionate and readily engages in
play with her people; good with vet exam/grooming; travels well; no resource guarding/food aggression; housetrained. She is showing
age-appropriate territoriality and home/property guardianship. Janna has shown to be highly trainable, responding
nicely to early motivational training with food; transitioning to ball tug reward.
| A highly agile dog, Janna functions enthusiastically
on variable surfaces and heights; her confident 'can do' attitude and inquisitive nature provide a strong willingness
to explore and experiment, with a solid rebound when encountering novel environments.
Brought to intermediate obedience
with formal German obedience commands sitz, platz, hier, fuss, giblaut;
and informal commands come, heel, walk, crate/wait/come out, leave it,
fetch it up, give, watch it/take it/aus, jump up/jump off, walk it, brush/toes/ears. Progressing to extended sit/down at distance under distraction.
On her introduction to master runaway wilderness search (go find) she shows
strong drive and commitment, primarily trailing to the find. Also started and showing good drive on
foundation footstep tracking on grass/sod (such). Showing good herding instinct.
