Dönitz is an 18-month-old West German bloodlines, neutered male German Shepherd Dog with a beautiful black and tan saddle stock coat. What a fun dog to train! Energetic in play and training, he's a drivey ball nut and retriever. Dönitz is a young dog showing an animated love for play and learning. He demonstrates a strong work ethic on his foundation tracking exercises, and in his runaway man searches. With his attentive focus and high energy, he's progressing quickly in foundation obedience to both verbal command and hand signal. Dönitz trains equally well to verbal praise, toy, or food and rebounds quickly after correction. Dönitz delivers animated responsiveness to the handler for Bh level obedience including heel, sit, sit in motion, down, down in motion, long down, here, crate, wait, come out, watch it/take it/out, give, leave it, find it, such, and more in development. Showing a sound, youthful temperament, Dönitz is not dog aggressive and is demonstrably affectionate with his people. He possesses beautiful movement expressed in energetic animation and athletic agility. Good to go in the house, kennel and crate, Dönitz travels well. Dönitz is a beautiful dog with a joyful, exuberant character and wonderful temperament showing superior trainability.
