Online Dog Training

Our Online Dog Training program and Distance Learning dog behavior training telephone consultations are offered on our online dog training portal MyDogTrainer, where you'll find detailed information about our distance learning program and our comprehensive library of online dog obedience training articles and tutorials.

Private Dog Training Lessons

For dog owners seeking highly personalized private dog training lessons, NorthWest K9 offers team training evaluations and extended private training courses with Training Director Moc Klinkam at our training facility in Enumclaw, Washington. You may elect to enroll in a Team Evaluation only, or continue with high customized private dog and handler training lessons, with "a la carte" training lessons or enjoy a substantial discount by enrolling in the 3-Lesson weekly training plan.

• The 75-minute Team Evaluation (the prerequisite for all other training at NorthWest K9);

• The Private Team Training Lesson Package of three 75-minute consecutive weekly lessons.

Team Evaluation

The Team Evaluation is a comprehensive 75-minute in-person behavioral evaluation and advisory session for you and your dog at our training facility in Enumclaw, Washington. The 75-minute Team Evaluation is an excellent tool to obtain objective, detailed input about your dog's behavioral status and training needs, with special emphasis on resolving problematic behaviors with appropriate behavioral modification and improved handler skills. Your private Team Evaluation may be all you need to resolve some bothersome behavioral issues and get you re-started on successful training on your own. Or, you can elect to continue with your team training at NorthWest K9 with additional private team training lessons following your initial Team Evaluation. The introductory Team Evaluation is a prerequisite for all first-time students enrolling in one of the NorthWest K9 custom team training programs.

Your private Team Evaluation is an opportunity for us to meet to discuss and review your dog's general history and behavioral challenges, your current training status, and your team training goals and objectives. Training Director Moc Klinkam will personally work with you and your dog to design the optimal training strategies and plan to resolve the critical behavioral issues and get you started with successful team obedience. Your Team Evaluation may include recommendations for more effective equipment, improved handling, and adjustments in your home environment to help resolve a specific behavioral problem. (Read the many different ways that dogs and their owners benefit from a Team Evaluation.)

During your Team Evaluation, we'll evaluate your training experience and goals, your handling strategies, and other key environmental elements that are critical to a successful training plan and a lifetime of successful behavioral management. You'll gain a greater understanding of how to better communicate with and manage your dog to build a strong and dependable relationship with your canine companion. I personally guarantee that you will leave your Team Evaluation with new knowledge of behavioral modification strategies and handling and training skills to take home and successfully apply to your dog that day.

Single "a la carte" Lessons

75-minute private team training lessons are conducted by Training Director Moc Klinkam for you and your dog at our training facility in Enumclaw, Washington. If your schedule demands flexibility and you would not be able to commit to a weekly sequence of training lessons, then an "a la carte" single lesson would be the best choice for you. You might also choose an a la carte lesson if you're just starting training and want to try an introductory lesson, or if you only need a one-time training refresher. After completing your first a la carte lesson, you can continue your training with "pay as you go" single a la carte lessons, or combine two or three lessons on one day for an intensive private team training session, or you can enroll in one of our cost saving Discount Packages offering a prescheduled weekly three-lesson course.

Multi-Lesson Discount Package

Our multi-lesson Discount Package are the cost saving alternative to single a la carte lessons. Enroll in and pre-schedule a course of three consecutive weekly lessons on the same day and time each week, and you'll receive a substantial tuition discount from the cost of separately purchased a la carte lessons. When you schedule and commit in advance to your private training sessions on the same day and time for the duration of your lesson course, this means less schedule administration for us, and we pass the cost savings directly on to you. All of our custom team training courses include a subscription to the Online Learning Center library of dog behavior training articles and tutorials during your lesson course.

Training Disciplines Available to Custom Private Training Students

Your private training lesson plan can include any or all of the skills-based training disciplines currently offered by NorthWest K9.

Once you have identified the NorthWest K9 training program that best meets your team training and performance objectives, you may submit your Training Enrollment Request and share information about your dog, specific behavioral problems, and your training goals, and to initiate your enrollment process. I will personally contact you and let you know how NorthWest K9 can help you and your dog and assist you in completing your training enrollment and schedule.
