-- PLACED --
NorthWest K9's Azmina is a 1-1/2 year old
female German Shepherd Dog. Her dark pigment and dense stock coat are
coupled with a well-muscled, athletic physique and wonderful expression.
A drivey, animated girl, Azmina is a
lively and engaging young prospect bringing high energy and enthusiasm to the training.
Azmina shows very well in her beginning master footstep tracking. Her wilderness runaway mantrailing demonstrates
intense drive, trailing skills, and a commitment to work through complex topographical and environmental
challenges and obstacles.
Foundation training with commands
sit, down, here, crate, wait, come out, heel, give, leave it, such, watch it/take it, tunnel, hup,
jump up/jump down, break, speak, quiet, go find, aus.
Azmina is a star on the obstacle course. Absolutely solid
on variable environmental surfaces, heights, and obstacles, including slick/suspended/unstable
surfaces, multi-story open stairways, dense brush, standing and moving water, etc. She is particularly neutral to heights, with remarkable
agility and surefootedness.
She's great in the house and settles in readily. She is fully house and crate trained,
and travels easily in the vehicle. Showing breed-typical reserve, Azmina is at ease with all manner of adults and
children.
Azmina is a pushy, mouthy female in play and training with
nicely balanced drives. She's developing strongly in drive work with intermediate tug.
Azmina is a joy to train. She's an all-around beautifully
balanced and self right girl, impressively responsive and biddable, happily up for anything, any time. A
lively, drivey, keenly intelligent and trainable dog showing strong potential for advanced training and performance.
